Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 November 2026 (tiered passes)

1. Provider and scope

These terms govern the use of imapsync.cc, operated by Michael Papst, Viktor-Franz-Straße 24, 8051 Graz, Austria (see Imprint). By starting a job or buying a pass you accept these terms.

2. The service

imapsync.cc copies e-mail messages and folders between two IMAP mailboxes that you name, using the open-source program imapsync on our servers. The connection check, credential check and folder size report are free of charge. Copying messages (sync, dry run and folder creation) requires a paid sync pass.

3. Sync pass, price and payment

4. Your responsibilities

5. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU/EEA/UK)

You have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. Because the pass is a digital service that starts immediately, you expressly request on checkout that the service begins before the withdrawal period ends, and you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal expires once the pass has been activated and the service fully performed. If you withdraw before using the pass, write to sales@imapsync.cc.

6. Refunds

If a sync could not be performed for reasons on our side, we refund the pass in full. Write to sales@imapsync.cc within 14 days with the e-mail address used for payment. Problems caused by wrong credentials, blocked IMAP access or limits of the mail providers are not grounds for a refund, which is why both connections can be checked for free before paying.

7. Availability and liability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Transfer speed depends on the mail servers involved. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties, limited to the foreseeable, typical damage and in any case to the price paid. Mandatory consumer protection law remains unaffected.

8. Final provisions

Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; for consumers, mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence remain unaffected. Contact: sales@imapsync.cc.
